Bio d'Agro
Bio D'Agro is a pilot project for the development of inland border regions of Center of Portugal. 4.0 agriculture happening in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, at the heart of Douro International Natural Park.
Salreu rice
After many years as set-aside areas, the rice fields of Salreu, in Estarreja municipality, in the region of Aveiro, were brought back to life by the environmental project BioRia. Portugal is the third biggest rice producer in Europe.
Bravo de esmolfe apple
Known since the 18th century, this apple is original from the Esmolfe village, in Penalva do Castelo, in the surroundings of Viseu. It’s an exclusively Portuguese product.
DeRaiz
The couple of young Chefs Inês Beja and Nuno Fonte decided to open a charming restaurant in a cosy village near Viseu called De Raiz. A unique family-like place that pays homage to traditional granny recipes that passed from generation to generation.
