The couple of young Chefs Inês Beja and Nuno Fonte decided to open a charming restaurant in a cosy village near Viseu called De Raiz. A unique family-like place that pays homage to traditional granny recipes that passed from generation to generation.
The name of the restaurant reveals its very essence. "Raiz" means root and it's all about recovering old recipes with that special touch of author cuisine.
