The City Hall of Viseu has launched the Walk Viseu app, allowing visitors do discover by themselves the municipal museums of the city and 27 spots of the historical centre of the city. This app is available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese Sign Language and International Sign Language.
By using this app in the municipal museums - Museum of the History of the City, Almeida Moreira Museum, Archaeological Museum of Viseu, Casa da Ribeira, Quartz Museum, Linen Museum of Várzea de Calde and Quinta da Cruz - visitors can read and hear the description of each museum room, so that they can have a full understanding of the several exhibitions.
All information is provided in audio and in writing in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese Sign Language and International Sign Language. The app also offers an adapted version in Portuguese for children. It includes a video in Portuguese Sign Language and in International Sign Language.
